Where science meets the table and real life gets nourished.
I’m Layla Al-Dorani, half Qatari, half American, based in Doha, and a mother of two daughters. I’ve spent years sitting at the intersection of science and the table, asking why what we eat matters so deeply to how we feel, think, and live.
I’m the founder of Raw Middle East, Qatar’s first plant-based food manufacturing company and a multi-award-winning factory. What started as a personal mission became a movement, plant-based forward living.
My work is grounded in research. I hold an EMBA from HEC Paris Q, a BA in International Management from American University in Washington DC, and I’m a doctoral student in Health Administration at the University of Colorado Denver. I’m also a certified Integrative Nutrition Coach (IIN) and hold a plant-based nutrition certification from eCornell.
Everything I create, the recipes, the programs, the content, lives inside four pillars: gut health, nervous system, plant-based living, and real food for real families. This is evidence-based wellness, made warm enough to live in.
